Financial Decision-Making for Cooperative Directors: Asking Better Questions, Making Better Decisions (instructed by Teri Wallis) 

Every board meeting requires directors to make decisions with financial implications. This session focuses on developing confidence in evaluating proposals, understanding financial trade-offs, and asking questions that lead to stronger governance. Rather than becoming accountants, directors will learn how to think strategically about financial decisions while supporting management.

June 15 (8:30–10:30 a.m.) 
Trust at the Core: Strengthening Board and CEO Relationships (instructed by Mitch Majeski)

Trust is the foundation of effective governance and strong leadership partnerships. This session will explore common barriers to trust, including fear, pride, and misunderstanding, and provide practical strategies directors can use to strengthen relationships with their CEO and fellow board members.

Investing for the Future: Making Smart Capital Investment Decisions (instructed by Teri Wallis)

Electric cooperatives continue to face increasing infrastructure needs, technology investments, cybersecurity concerns, and changing member expectations. This webinar explores how directors evaluate major investments while balancing affordability, reliability, risk, and long-term financial sustainability.

Leading Beyond Today: Future-Proofing Your Cooperative (instructed by Mitch Majeski) 

Explore how strategic foresight can strengthen cooperative resilience and support long-term success. This session will provide practical guidance on succession planning, leadership continuity, and adaptive governance, along with key actions directors can take today to help secure a sustainable future.

November 11 (8:30–10 a.m.)
Building a Financially Resilient Cooperative: Preparing for the Next Decade (instructed by Teri Wallis) 

Strong cooperatives are built through years of disciplined financial decisions rather than reacting to short-term events. This webinar focuses on the financial characteristics of resilient cooperatives and the board’s role in maintaining long-term financial strength while preparing for uncertainty.
